Sorry I haven’t been writing much lately, I’ve had to spend what little spare time I have studying.
We did manage to make our batch of Shaftebury Cream Ale though. We just racked it to the secondary fermenter. We’re going to let it condition for two weeks this time (we always did a week before). I took copious note this time, and paid a LOT of attention to sanitation and temperatures. We’re hoping this will improve the flavour of the beer. We’re probably going to try a different carbonation method too, since we’ve always had problems with that as well.
I feel like I’m getting *VERY* behind with the gardening, but with all my brainpower going to my upcoming exam and my son’s birthday party there’s just nothing left! He is turning four and I’m going to be making a ridiculous cake. Expect pictures.
Anyway, I wanted you all to know I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth (sorry!). When I’m not studying I’m making a planting chart specifically for the seeds I bought.
